Supporting the Work

Much of my work exists outside of traditional commercial structures. Photographing bodies with care, time, and respect—especially bodies that don’t conform to narrow cultural standards—requires a kind of freedom that isn’t always compatible with markets, trends, or quick turnaround. Patronage helps make that freedom possible.

Patreon allows me to sustain an ongoing photographic practice without compromising the values that shape it. Support from patrons gives me the time and space to work thoughtfully, to experiment with process and equipment, and to continue long-term projects that grow slowly and deliberately.

What patronage makes possible

Patron support helps cover the unglamorous but necessary parts of the work: studio time, equipment, materials, and the labor involved in photographing, editing, and presenting images responsibly. It also allows me to work with volunteers in ways that prioritize consent, comfort, and collaboration, rather than speed or output.

Many of my projects—such as Beach Body, Closer, and my ongoing body-positive portrait work—depend on trust and sustained engagement. Patronage helps ensure that these projects can continue to exist on their own terms.

What supporting looks like

Some patrons follow the work casually, checking in as new images are made. Others support more deeply, helping to ensure the long-term sustainability of the practice. There is no expectation beyond participation itself. Every level of support contributes to the same goal: keeping the work alive and independent.

I try to share the work openly and honestly with patrons, offering insight into what I’m making and how I’m making it. The intent is not exclusivity, but proximity—an opportunity to stay close to the work as it develops.

An invitation

If this work resonates with you—if you see yourself, or something you care about, reflected in it—patronage is one way to help sustain it. There is no pressure to participate, but support is always deeply appreciated.

Thank you for spending time with the work.
